Each year, women from EWGA chapters throughout the US and
Canada prepare to compete in the EWGA Championship at the
chapter level. The EWGA Championship provides members at all
skill levels the opportunity to compete in tournament golf,
and is the largest organized women’s amateur golf
competition in the world.
The EWGA Championship offers two different competitive
formats: Stroke Play Competition and Inter-Chapter Team
Scramble Competition. You select the competitive format that
best fits your game, personality and skill level... the
choice is yours. Members of all skill levels are encouraged
to compete! The Low Gross and Low Net Champions in each flight
and the first-place Scramble Team winners are eligible to
advance to the Semi-Final Championship.
TO QUALIFY, EWGA MEMBERS MUST:
• Follow the registration guidelines distributed by the
chapter
• Select one of the two tournament divisions when
registering: Individual Stroke Play or Four-Woman Team
Scramble
• Be a female, EWGA member in good standing
• Have a verifiable USGA approved Handicap
• Be an amateur as defined by USGA Rules of Amateur Status
